Esch Camping Kaampert

In a beautiful location in Twente, we realized our dream in 2024: a green, sustainable minicamp!

We are Edwin and Jeanine Smit, and we live with our two children, Calvin and Finette, next to our campsite in a unique location just outside Markelo.

Our minicamp is located on former Esch land, where rye and oats were once grown and harvested. Esch Camping Kaampert has 25 spacious pitches of approximately 120 m² each. The region where we live is characterized by a friendly, green, and rural atmosphere. It is exactly this atmosphere that we want to share with our guests at our campsite.

The cozy village center of Markelo is within walking and cycling distance from our campsite and offers excellent practical and cultural amenities, such as supermarkets and various restaurants. Around our campsite, you will find beautiful walking and cycling routes (both node-point routes and MTB trails).
